Privacy Policy

10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Seattle (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website 10thplanetseattle.com and the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy located at 12738 Bel-Red Rd, Bellevue, WA 98005.

When you fill out the contact form, request a free trial class, or otherwise communicate with us, we collect:

• Your first and last name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• The class or program you’re interested in
• Any message you send us

We also receive standard server logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL, timestamps) for security and analytics.

• To respond to your inquiry and book your free trial class
• To send you SMS reminders about your booked class (with consent)
• To follow up about membership, schedule changes, or events
• To improve the website and academy experience

Meta Pixel. Our website loads the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It records the pages you visit on our site and, if you came to our website from one of our ads, the code Meta adds to that ad’s link. When you send the free-class form, it also tells Meta that a form was sent and which program you chose. Meta’s automatic matching is turned on for our pixel, so details you type into our forms, such as your name, email address and phone number, may be picked up; they are converted into one-way encrypted codes (“hashes”) before Meta receives them.

Booked classes. When you book a free class, our server sends Meta a record of the booking through Meta’s Conversions API, so we can see which ads lead to booked classes. That record includes your email address, converted into a one-way encrypted code (a “hash”); the code Meta adds to an ad’s link, if you came to our website from one of our ads; technical details such as your IP address and browser type; a coded customer number; and when you booked. It never includes your phone number, your name, or anything about a child.

Google Analytics. Our website also loads Google Analytics, which records the pages you visit, how you arrived at our site, and technical details such as your browser type, so we can see how visitors use the site and which ads and pages bring them in.

These details are shared with Meta and Google only to measure our own ads. We never sell them, and they are never used for anyone else’s marketing. None of this changes the commitments in “SMS / text messaging” below.

If you opt in, we’ll send transactional SMS messages (booking confirmations, schedule changes, follow-ups). Message frequency varies. Standard message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time. Reply HELP for help. We will never sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, but we work hard to keep your data safe.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
